Project INTRODUCTION
In the preliminary research, we have learned that students from Indonesia are very keen on stickers. Therefore, in order to popularize the products and promote their vitality for using application. I designed a mascot called "Pedo" to represent the good qualities of students. This mascot means smart, friendly and lively. Also, "Pedo" enables to transmit culture of “Smart Campus” application to students.
Feedback of the research
Mascots preferred: lovely mascots with bigger heads and small bodies.
Animals popular among Indonesia : deer, bear and rabbit.
Products types: expressions, print publications and surrounding merchandise.
Color preferred: warm colors (red, orange and yellow etc.), or warm colors with cold colors.
Designing Taboos of Mascots
Image taboos: avoid to use the image of pigs or dogs.
Religion: there are many religions in Indonesia, so try not to include any religion information.
Color taboos: None
Posture: avoid flirtatious or sexy postures.
Introduction of products
Smart Campus product ,an integrated platform with targeted service, aims at Atma Jaya Catholic University, which combines lifes and teaching managements. It has a complete campus organization, combining different modules like instant messaging, informing, social contacting, task system and integrating system. What‘s more, ithas customized optimization and feature updates according to the needs of the school.

Pedo is flexible, shuttling through the universities. His ears can become the green energy source to solve problems and remove doubts of students.
A.The image of bear
He was born in the beautiful Indonesia, shuttling through every university. Freddy has imparted knowledge to students and also bought courage and joys to them through the energetic light. He has brought people endless happiness. By the way, the energetic light is just from his face.
After finishing the design of the first drafts, I found 10 students to vote for these two images. Finally, based on the result, I decided to used and optimized the image of deer.
